Searching For New Genes that Cause Usher syndrome

Drs. Riccardo Sangermano, Kinga Bujakowska, and Rachel Huckfeldt along with Sr. Genetic Counselor Emily Place contributed to a multi-center, collaborative effort to identify novel Usher syndrome candidate genes from phenotyping data from 9139 knockout mouse lines. Eighteen candidate genes warranting further study were identified.
