Jason Comander, MD, PhD chosen as inaugural incumbent of the Ayoub Chair in Ophthalmology

Stephen Ayoub, President and co-founder of computing solutions and AI integration company AHEAD has endowed the Ayoub Chair in Ophthalmology. The chair will be within the Ocular Genomics Institute and support research in inherited retinal disorders.
Dr. Comander is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, Director of the IRD Service at Mass Eye and Ear, and an investigator in the Ocular Genomics Institute.
